Four groups, four words each. Yellow should feel easy; purple should feel like a trick. The craft is in the overlaps — plant words that almost belong to another group.

Airtight groups. All four words clearly fit the category — no maybes.
Plant 5–8 traps. Words that flirt with the wrong group (CELL lives in ___ BLOCK but screams phone).
One solution only. If any wrong four is defensible, cut a word (BLACK died because Blackstar is real).
Order the reveal. Yellow = instant. Green = one beat. Blue = knowledge or light wordplay. Purple = the trick, found last.
Test in Solver View. Colors off, shuffled. If the groups still jump out, it's too easy.
